Free estate agency software offered with unlimited listings
A new estate and letting agency software platform has launched with a free version offering unlimited property listings and no time limit.
TerraSuite, developed by London-based Havenswift Hosting, went live on 6th October. Its free package includes an agency website with property listings for sale, to let and short lets, property search, map-based searches, enquiry forms, saved shortlists and area guides.
The company says the free version is a fully functioning website rather than a time-limited trial or demonstration product.
Paid-for packages include back-office functions, including a viewings diary with online booking, automated applicant matching, offers and viewing feedback, branded property particulars, portal feeds, sales progression and online portals for vendors and landlords.
Website ownership
Ian Bucklar, of Havenswift Hosting, said the decision to offer unlimited listings at no cost was intended to remove a common pricing restriction for agents.
“Most agency software starts by asking how many properties you have and charging you accordingly,” he said. “We think an agency’s own website should not be the thing it is rationed on. The free version has no limit because a limit is the wrong place to put the price.”
Havenswift said agencies retain ownership of their website and can export their complete property list to a spreadsheet at any time. The software can be run on an agency’s own hosting or managed by Havenswift.
The paid packages also include an online viewing diary that allows applicants to book available appointments without an agent having to respond immediately. Agents define their working patterns and available slots, with bookings confirmed by the agent afterwards.
TerraSuite has made two demonstration sites available without registration, allowing agents to compare the free and paid versions.
